Cups of Excellents #5: Terebat

Name - Magnolia Mountain Arita Porcelain Tumbler
Creator - Arita Porcelain Lab in Japan in collaboration with Magnolia Mountain
Properties - Excellent tumbler shaped for holding from the base. Made by a kiln existing for 200+ years, an ultra translucent porcelain is utilized, shaped in the iconic MM tumbler shape. On the surface, it's simple and unassuming, just a white tumbler, however, when the light strikes, it's pale blue on the inside, so translucent that even fingers can be seen.
Cup is great for swirling coffee and drinking. Even small quantities are great since it shifts aroma up and swirling is easy. Lip is not great though for delivery as it's quite thin, not shaped at delivering the coffee to the mouth compared to other cups. Visually seeing the liquid through the translucent porcelain and just handling the cup is a delight though.
